The net worth of Elon Musk has reached an all-time high, driven by the rise in Tesla Inc. stock and successful fundraising for his artificial intelligence startup xAI, which is valued at $50 billion, according to Bloomberg.

The significant increase in Musk's companies' value is linked to Donald Trump's victory in the presidential elections, which has drawn heightened attention to Musk's activities. Tesla's shares rose by 3.8% in a single day, and since November 4, the total increase has reached 45%, adding approximately $350 billion to the company's market capitalization.

Investors have also shown increased interest in xAI, whose value has doubled since May. Earlier this week, Trump and Musk attended a SpaceX launch, which is considering selling shares, potentially raising its valuation to over $250 billion.

Elon Musk, who continues to be the richest person in the world, has surpassed his own record for net worth set in November 2021. More than two-thirds of his wealth comes from Tesla stock and options, which have increased by 35% since the elections.

Musk is actively supporting Trump, participating in the election campaign and investing over $170 million in a political committee backing the Republican. The new president's team aims to reform legislation on self-driving cars, which could facilitate their widespread adoption and provide Tesla with significant competitive advantages.

Additionally, Musk will serve as co-chair of the new Department of Government Efficiency, which will focus on reducing bureaucracy and regulations.

Proposals from the Trump administration include cutting subsidies for electric vehicles and loosening environmental regulations, which may negatively impact traditional automakers but benefit Tesla, which is less reliant on government support.
