During the mobilization in Ukraine, draft evaders are not punished, and the employees of the TCC are too limited in their authority. This was stated by Sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrey Sokolov in an interview with the Lviv portal "Tvoe Misto."

According to him, there is no fair and transparent draft process in Ukraine. The military noted that politicians, law enforcement officials, and the wealthy should be held to the same standards as ordinary citizens. Besides social justice, he believes there is also a lack of inevitability in punishment.

"No one gets punished! If someone flees abroad, they catch him and just give him a fine," — Sokolov explained.

He pointed out that, at the same time, a serviceman who leaves their unit because their "nerves gave out" can realistically end up in jail. However, violators who are caught multiple times at the border face no consequences.

The sergeant shared that the TCC is given a plan to mobilize a certain number of people, but the military recruitment officers have no tools to implement this. He clarified that the military personnel go unarmed and do not have the right to use force.

Sokolov stated that defenseless TCC workers are being attacked. He described a scenario where a person may stand their ground and then encounter rudeness at their new place of service, and for reacting to this, they could even be blamed.

"We need to grant authority. We need to allow the use of physical force against draft evaders and prohibit any physical actions against servicemen. How can this be? They should be allowed to shoot. Shoot, because it is an attack on a serviceman while performing their duties during wartime. There is no time for games," — the defender added.

Recall that the Ministry of Health reported that they sent the cases of 1,695 individuals with disabilities for examination. All of them are government officials from over 30 agencies.

The deputy commander of the 3rd Special Operations Brigade, Maxim Zhorin, discussed whether Ukraine needs mandatory mobilization of women.
