Ukraine has received only $76 billion of the $177 billion in aid from the U.S., according to President Zelensky.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that out of the 177 billion dollars in aid approved by the United States for Ukraine, the country has only received 76 billion. He shared this information in an interview with the Associated Press, which was published on the President's Office YouTube channel.

“When I hear statements that the U.S. has allocated hundreds of billions to Ukraine (specifically, 177 billion — this amount was approved by Congress), as the president of a warring nation I can say that we have received just over 75 billion,” Zelensky noted.

He clarified that Ukraine has not received 100 billion of the claimed 177, and the majority of the aid was provided not as cash, but as weapons totaling around 70 billion.

“When they say that Ukraine has received 200 billion for military support during the war — that is not true. I don't know where that money is. Perhaps it's just numbers on paper; there are many different programs. We are very grateful for the support, but in reality, we have received about 76 billion — that is significant assistance, but not 200 billion,” the president added.

Zelensky also commented on the cessation of U.S. funding for humanitarian programs in Ukraine, mentioning energy sector programs worth 200 million dollars, as well as those related to medicine and border control.

“There are also other humanitarian programs of which I know nothing, apart from the fact that they existed. Perhaps the U.S. president will conduct an audit and say that there are additional billions, but I don’t know where they went. If that’s the case, then when the war started, many Ukrainian organizations, having received a signal from the American embassy, left our country. I believe these organizations were funded by various foundations,” Zelensky added.
