The Ukrainian Telegram channel "Trukha" has been banned in Belarus for "extremism," according to Belarusian media reports.

The Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that the network of channels "publishes knowingly false information about Belarus" and engages in "destructive propaganda."
Белорусские СМИ сообщают, что украинский Telegram-канал "Труха" был заблокирован в Беларуси из-за обвинений в "экстремизме".

The Ukrainian Telegram channel network "Trukha" has been recognized as "extremist" and banned in Belarus. This was reported by the Belarusian publication "Nasha Niva," referencing a decision by the court of the Railway District of Gomel and the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOPiK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

It is reported that the Railway District Court of Gomel has added 50 channels from the "Trukha" network across all platforms to the list of "extremist" and prohibited channels.

GUBOPiK explained that the court's decision is related to "the publication of deliberately false information about Belarus, participation in destructive propaganda, and information manipulation."

"Well, a true 'recognition' from Russia's henchmen. That means we are doing everything right; we will continue to work," — commented on the decision in the Telegram channel "Trukha Ukraine."

Following this, the owner of the network, Maxim Lavrynenko, announced the launch of the channel "Trukha Belarus."

"We are for the Belarusian people. We understand the difficult situation; we know why it has come to this. It's great that we are recognized, and they fear us. This means we are doing everything right," — he stated.

Recall that on January 7, media reported that Belarus has moved troops to the border with Ukraine. The head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council noted that there is currently no threat of regular Belarusian troops invading Ukraine.

Also on January 7, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that Belarus may "not withstand as a state" participation in the war.
