Ukrainians were informed about the measures to combat special pensions that can reach up to 100,000.

The Ministry of Social Policy has developed three significant draft laws concerning special pensions, aimed at addressing the shortcomings of the current legislation and establishing greater fairness within the pension system. It is proposed to introduce limiting coefficients for the highest pensions.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.

In particular, it concerns the limitation of pensions, which can currently reach 60, 80, or even 100 thousand hryvnias and more.

The limiting coefficients will help reduce the significant disparity between the so-called "special" pensions and general pensions.

The mechanism will operate in such a way that the higher the pension amount, the greater the coefficient applied.

In particular:

for the portion of the pension exceeding 23,610 UAH and not exceeding 25,971 UAH, a coefficient of 0.5 will be applied;
for the portion of the pension exceeding 25,971 UAH and not exceeding 30,693 UAH - 0.4
for the portion of the pension exceeding 30,693 UAH and not exceeding 40,137 UAH - 0.3
for the portion of the pension exceeding 40,137 UAH and not exceeding 49,581 UAH - 0.2
for the portion of the pension exceeding 49,581 UAH - 0.1..

About 17,600 "special" pensioners will be affected by this regulation.
