The smallest portion of this amount is allocated for compensating expenses related to organizing meetings with voters – 670 UAH per year.
A significant part of the expenses is for housing rent compensation. Annually, a deputy may receive 237,000 UAH (650 UAH per day).
EP calculated that for the year 2024, nearly 26.4 million UAH has been allocated from the state budget for deputies' compensations. The highest amount was received in December – over 4.7 million UAH. A total of 113 parliamentarians took advantage of the compensation. On average, each elected representative received almost 40,000 UAH.
The majority of deputies received these funds for December and November, while some received them for a longer period.
Most of the members of parliament who received funds for housing rent in December belong to the "Servant of the People" faction, totaling 85. Additionally, five representatives from "European Solidarity," "Voice," and "Trust" also received compensations, along with two members from the "Platform for Life and Peace" parliamentary group.
