The dismissed head of the Supervisory Board of AOZ has assessed the claims against Bezrukova, according to media reports.

Yuri Djigir advocated for the extension of Marina Bezrukova's contract as the head of the Defense Procurement Agency.
Уволенный председатель Наблюдательного совета АОЗ прокомментировал обвинения в адрес Безруковой, сообщают СМИ.

The former head of the Supervisory Board of the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA), Yuri Djigir, described the claims made by MP Alexandra Ustinova against DPA Director Marina Bezrukova regarding the agency's inefficiency as a "strange mix of unrelated facts." This is mentioned in an article by "Glavkom" "Have They Forgotten About the War? Who Will Win the Battle for the Defense Procurement Agency".

"We analyzed them (Ustinova's allegations against Bezrukova, — "Glavkom"). Most of the claims are a strange mix of unrelated facts glued together with speculative logic and inflated conclusions. That is why we suggested conducting a professional and independent audit that would be trusted by all parties. We aimed to shift this discussion into a technocratic rather than a political realm," noted Yuri Djigir.

Journalists emphasize that there were several complaints regarding Marina Bezrukova's activities within the Ministry of Defense, which Ustinova, an ally of Minister Rustem Umerov, discussed in an interview with "Glavkom" and wrote about in a column for "Ukrainian Truth." She highlighted the alleged inefficiency of Bezrukova's work.

"Meanwhile, on the accounts of the Ukrainian state enterprise, which is supposed to quickly and effectively procure weapons (Defense Procurement Agency — DPA), tens of billions of hryvnias have been hanging for several months, offers from arms dealers are somehow 'lost,' and purchases occur through third or fourth parties — intermediaries, each of which earns its own percentage from the war. The question to the DPA is not whether they are effective (spoiler — they are not), but whether the agency is deliberately sabotaging rapid purchases at lower prices, or if it is simply due to incompetence," Ustinova stated in her column.

Additionally, there was a direct accusation against Bezrukova that some commercial proposals are being "leaked" to competitors, complicating the procurement process for better prices and faster transactions.

Journalists remind that on January 22, the Supervisory Board of the DPA approved the extension of the contract with the current head, Marina Bezrukova, but the Ministry of Defense did not approve the new contract. On January 24, the head of the ministry, Rustem Umerov, accused the DPA leadership of political games, "leaking" contracts and information, PR inaction, and failure to meet KPIs. As a result, the minister decided to dismiss Deputy Minister Dmitry Klimenko and not extend the contract with Marina Bezrukova.

The Ministry of Defense also recalled two state representatives from the Supervisory Board — the chairman Yuri Djigir and well-known volunteer Taras Chmut. Umerov also named the new head of the Agency — Arsen Jumadilov, the head of the State Rear Operations.

Media reports indicate that former head of the Supervisory Board of the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) Yuri Djigir explained the situation surrounding the signing of a new contract with DPA Director Marina Bezrukova. In particular, it became known why the new contract with Bezrukova was signed without the Ministry of Defense's approval.

Djigir also noted that the Ministry of Defense cannot dismiss Marina Bezrukova.
