В 2024 году украинцы зарегистрировали наибольшее количество ФОПов за последние пять лет.

In 2024, approximately 210,000 individual entrepreneurs (IEs) closed their businesses in Ukraine, marking a 32% increase compared to 2023 and setting a record high for the last five years.

According to a study by YouControl.Market, the sectors of the economy with the highest number of business closures include:

  • Retail trade – over 65,000 closed IEs.
  • IT sector – nearly 39,000 closures.
  • Other services – over 26,000.

Closures are especially pronounced in the IT sector. The number of closed IEs in 2024 (38,700) increased by 29% compared to 2023 (29,900). Compared to 2021 (14,300), this represents an increase of almost 161%.

The most significant growth in IE closures in 2024 relative to 2023 was recorded in the following regions:

  • Poltava region – an increase of 57.2%.
  • Kirovohrad region – an increase of nearly 55%.
  • Vinnytsia region – an increase of about 45%.

Against the backdrop of rising closures, there has been a decline in new IE registrations – 5% lower compared to 2023.

These figures reflect the challenging situation in Ukraine's economy, particularly amidst instability and the need for entrepreneurs to adapt to changes.
