In Dnipro, a jealous man was sentenced to 13 years for a violent attack.

A 40-year-old man in Dnipro has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for the murder of an acquaintance. This was reported by "Vydomo" referencing the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The crime took place in March of last year. In one of the apartments in the Industrial District of the city, a conflict arose between two men due to jealousy, during which the guest inflicted multiple stab wounds on the apartment owner. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The authorities apprehended the 40-year-old resident of Marganets and informed him of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense as stipulated in part 1 of article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The court found the defendant guilty of intentional murder and sentenced him to thirteen years of imprisonment.
