In Dnipro, a local man was arrested for killing another man out of jealousy in an abandoned building.

The police in Dnipro arrested a 52-year-old assailant who committed a murder driven by jealousy. This was reported by "Vідомо," referencing the National Police of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

On November 25, the police received a report about a man's body being discovered with numerous bodily injuries in an abandoned building in the Central district of the city. Within a few hours, investigators identified and apprehended the individual involved in the crime.

It was revealed that a conflict arose between two men over jealousy concerning a woman. During the altercation, the suspect initially struck the victim with a wooden stick, then picked up a brick and hit the man several more times. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The weapon used in the crime was seized by law enforcement and sent for examination.

The man was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. On November 26, investigators informed him of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under part 1 of Article 115 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For this crime, the individual faces up to 15 years behind bars.
