In Dnipro, a couple linked to the explosion near the TCK building has been detained (PHOTO).

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have detained two more individuals involved in the terrorist attack in Dnipro on December 14, 2024. This was reported by "Vidomo" citing the SBU and the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, a 33-year-old man and his 25-year-old wife were recruited by Russian special services and acted in the interests of the aggressor state.

In fulfillment of the enemy's orders, the suspects created an explosive device in a rented apartment. A representative of the Russian special services managed the process and provided detailed instructions online. Subsequently, while taking a walk with their child, the suspects placed the explosives in a pre-determined hiding place.

On December 14, 2024, the executor of the terrorist act—a 37-year-old man—retrieved the homemade explosive device from the hiding place and planted it near the administrative building in the center of Dnipro.

As a result of the attack, one person was killed, and a man along with two police officers who were on duty at the time were seriously injured.

The executor is currently in custody.

It has been established that the couple planned to carry out a series of other terrorist acts on behalf of the enemy.

During searches at their residence, mobile phones containing evidence of illegal activities, as well as items and components for creating homemade explosives, were seized.

The law enforcement officers detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, they were informed of the suspicion of preparing and committing a terrorist act by a group of individuals in conspiracy (Part 1 of Article 14, Part 2, 3 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Currently, the agents are in custody.

Investigative actions are ongoing. Other individuals involved in the crime are being identified.
