In Dnipropetrovsk region, police apprehended two 16-year-old teenagers who, at Russia's request, set fire to a military vehicle and a relay cabinet. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

On September 7, arson incidents occurred involving a military Peugeot vehicle and a civilian car in the city of Pokrov. On September 13, unknown individuals ignited a relay cabinet on the railway line. Police examined the crime scenes and collected evidence, which underwent a series of forensic tests. During the investigation, law enforcement checked local businesses where the arsonists might have purchased incendiary materials, interviewed potential witnesses, and reviewed footage from surveillance cameras.

Police determined that the crimes were committed by two 16-year-old residents of the Nikopol district. During the last incident, one of the boys sustained burns to his face and hands and sought medical assistance at a hospital.

It was revealed that one of the accomplices received a message on Telegram offering a way to earn money by painting Russian symbols on buildings. The teenager agreed and involved his friend in the crime. Together, they purchased a spray can and painted a monument and the walls of buildings. They were then tasked with committing arson and began working on behalf of Russian special services.

On September 17, law enforcement conducted a sanctioned search at the suspects' residences. Investigators seized mobile phones, bank cards, a can with remnants of black paint, clothing and shoes with traces of flammable materials, and other physical evidence, all of which were added to the criminal case materials.

Under the procedural guidance of the Nikopol District Prosecutor's Office, the accomplices of the enemy were informed of their suspicion under Part 2 of Article 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They are also expected to be notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 114-1 (obstruction of lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations). They face up to ten years in prison.

"We urge citizens to report traitors and collaborators using the National Police's Telegram bot 'People's Avenger,' as well as any announcements calling for criminal acts and other information," the police emphasized.
