In Kamensk, a man stole 24,000 hryvnias from a soldier's card.

The police in Kamenskoye have submitted an indictment to the court against a 48-year-old suspect accused of stealing from a serviceman. This was reported by "Vідомо," referencing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Law enforcement officials determined that on one of the city's streets, the suspect approached a serviceman and initiated a conversation. Subsequently, he noticed that the man had left his bag unattended, and the perpetrator stole a mobile phone and a bank card from it. The stolen funds, amounting to nearly 24,000 hryvnias, were later used for the suspect's personal expenses.

The suspect was identified by operatives from the criminal police of the Kamenskoye District Police Department. He turned out to be a 48-year-old local resident with a prior criminal record.

In coordination with the Kamenskoye District Prosecutor's Office, the suspect was informed of charges under part 1 of Article 357 (theft of an official document committed for mercenary motives) and part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and a preventive measure of detention was chosen. The indictment against the suspect has been forwarded to the court by the investigators.
