In Kamensk, a man snatched a bag from a passerby and fled the scene.

Police in Kamensky have apprehended a 38-year-old man for robbing a passerby. This was reported by "Vідомо," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The incident occurred on November 26 at around 4:20 PM on one of the city's streets. Authorities determined that the 53-year-old victim was heading home when an unknown individual ran up to him, snatched a bag containing a mobile phone from his hands, and fled the scene.

Investigators managed to capture the perpetrator, who turned out to be a 38-year-old local resident with a prior criminal record.

The suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He was informed of the charges against him for committing a criminal offense as stipulated in Part 4 of Article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and was remanded in custody.
