In Kryvyi Rih, a woman was tried for willfully neglecting her parental duties, which resulted in the death of her 8-month-old child. This information is stated in the verdict of the Dolhynivskyi District Court of Kryvyi Rih, as reported by "Vidomo".

Law enforcement officials discovered that the woman failed to care for her newborn. Among the recorded issues were:

• not feeding or caring for the child;
• not providing proper living conditions;
• not monitoring the child's development and health;
• failing to seek medical assistance when necessary.

The child suffered from severe protein-energy malnutrition, complicated by pneumonia and heart-lung failure. The combination of these diagnoses led to the child's death.

Additionally, the baby's blood was found to contain 0.63 promille of ethyl alcohol.

During the trial, the mother acknowledged her guilt.
