In the heart of Dnipro, a dispute between men escalated into a violent clash.

The police in Dnipro have apprehended a 51-year-old suspect for inflicting serious bodily harm on a local resident. This was reported by "Vідомо," referencing the National Police of Dnipropetrovsk Region.

The notification about the crime, which occurred in the central part of the city, was received by the police on November 18. It was revealed that during a dispute, the assailant stabbed the victim in the abdomen. The 37-year-old man was hospitalized with a severe injury.

The police documented the offense and, based on the evidence collected, detained the 51-year-old assailant under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. At the crime scene, officers seized the weapon used in the crime—a folding knife.

On November 19, investigators informed the detainee of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 121 (intentional serious bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man faces a potential sentence of up to 8 years in prison for the crime committed. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
