The Russian army has occupied the village of Novomlinsky, located in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region. This was reported by DeepState analysts on the evening of January 31 in their daily summary of enemy troop movements on their Telegram channel.
"The enemy has occupied Novomlinsky and has also advanced near Rovnopole, Razdolne, Yantarnoye, Petropavlivka, Baranivka, and in Udachne," the message states.
The corresponding changes have been added to the interactive online map by the project's analysts.
Additionally, DeepState specialists reported earlier on January 31 about the situation in Novomlinsky. They noted that this is more of a clarification rather than a new advancement, as the occupation of the village occurred earlier.
"This designation on the map in Novomlinsky is more of a clarification, rather than a 'new' advancement, since the occupation of the village took place several weeks ago," the DeepState note states.
At the same time, DeepState reported that the enemy is continually increasing the number of infantry in the settlement, deploying strike capabilities, and fortifying the surrounding area.
"The further this goes, the harder it will be to eliminate this foothold," the project analysts noted, adding that the Russians are learning from their previous mistakes.
Moreover, DeepState claims that the situation in the village of Dvurechne in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region is also not improving. Previously, analysts reported that the enemy is conducting active assault operations in Udachne.
Recall that on January 30, it also became known that the enemy occupied Novoandreyevka in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to restore positions near Udachne, although the next day, January 31, DeepState analysts reported enemy troop advancements near this settlement.
