Russian forces are attempting to push Ukrainians out of the Kurakhove Thermal Power Plant, according to the Operational Command "Khortytsia."

Russian forces are attempting to attack in the Dachne area and drive Ukrainian troops out of Kurakhove in the Donetsk region. This was reported by Viktor Trehubov, a representative of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia."

He stated that the Defense Forces are holding the Kurakhiv thermal power station and inflicting as much damage as possible on the enemy in that area.

"Of course, this is one of the most active directions. In this regard, perhaps only Pokrovsk is more active," the military official noted.

Viktor Trehubov emphasized that the Ukrainian forces are doing everything possible in this direction, destroying vast amounts of enemy personnel and equipment.

According to information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the Kurakhove direction, the Defense Forces repelled 29 attacks on our troops' positions near Serebryany, Andriivka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove, and Dachne. Over the past day, a total of 161 combat clashes have been recorded at the front.

Recall that analysts from DeepState reported that Russian occupation forces captured Petropavlivka, Vozdvizhanka, Solenoye, Novoiivanivka, Leonidovo, and Alexandria in the Donetsk region. Additionally, the enemy advanced in Dvurichne, near Zakhidne, Kurakhove, and Yasenevo.

The head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, Serhiy Dobriak, mentioned that the Russians are just a couple of kilometers from the outskirts of the city. The intensity and number of shellings are increasing daily.
