In Kryvyi Rih, law enforcement officials dismantled a cannabis cultivation lab, seizing nearly 3,000 cannabis plants and 4 kg of cannabis. This was reported by "Izvestno" referencing the National Police of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.
In a garage construction complex located in the Saksagansky district, two men had set up a facility for growing cannabis, maintaining the necessary temperature and humidity levels.
At the end of September, police conducted court-sanctioned searches at the laboratory's location and the suspects' premises. As a result, a cannabis plantation was discovered in the garage construction complex, equipped with continuous lighting, ventilation, and irrigation systems.
During the searches, officers seized almost 3,000 cannabis plants and over 4 kg of cannabis. Additionally, in one suspect's bag, police found a firearm and ammunition.
Both suspects were informed by investigators of their suspicion under Part 2 of Article 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment, or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs) and Part 2 of Article 310 (sowing or growing poppy or cannabis).
Furthermore, a 62-year-old man was notified of suspicion for committing a criminal offense as stipulated in Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, military supplies, or explosives).
