"Atlas": a project that has the potential to alter the course of technological rivalry against the enemy.

Hostile drones pose a lethal threat to our military personnel and residents of frontline towns and villages. The developers of the "Atlas" project assert that it is entirely feasible to secure 1,300 kilometers of the front line from the invasion of enemy drones.
"Атлас": проект, способный изменить ход технологического противостояния с врагом.

The company KVERTUS, a manufacturer of electronic warfare (EW) and electronic intelligence (ELINT) systems, has proposed a technological solution to make the frontline impenetrable for enemy drones.

Together with Brave1, a global initiative supporting Ukraine, KVERTUS presented the defense project "Atlas". Its goal is to create a revolutionary electronic ecosystem based on two of the company's innovative developments.

One of these developments is the KVERTUS MS AZIMUTH electronic intelligence tool. It can detect all sources of radio emissions (such as enemy drones, UAVs, EW systems, communication and telecommunication devices) at a distance of up to 30 km.

The second development, KVERTUS LTEJ MIRAGE, belongs to the advanced class of tactical EW systems and operates on the principle of optimal jamming. It interferes with drone control at the data exchange protocol level, making it significantly more effective than conventional "noise" jammers. Its capabilities allow for the prevention of "friendly fire" on its own drones with proper coordination between EW units and UAVs.

"Until now, the vast majority of inventions were related to local tasks and functionalities at a local level," says KVERTUS director Yaroslav Filimonov. "The 'Atlas' project is a true breakthrough. This ecosystem will function as a single organism with a multi-level access structure."

Working in conjunction, the tools of the "Atlas" project can automatically detect and successfully neutralize drones operating on various control frequencies.

"We all know that we are physically fewer in number, and we are losing in quantity. Therefore, it is crucial that we achieve technological superiority on the battlefield. The 'Atlas' project is capable of providing an advantage on the battlefield in automated mode with remote control," emphasizes Yaroslav Filimonov.

"This unique system will combine many sensors, allowing for awareness on the battlefield," adds Serhiy Skoryk, KVERTUS's commercial director. "It acts as an invisible shield that prevents losses. One of 'Atlas's' key advantages is that we effectively combined detection and suppression tools, enabling the operator to make quick decisions for neutralizing a drone. A military personnel can control any number of KVERTUS LTEJ MIRAGE units positioned behind the combat line. Their energy consumption is only 20 watts."

Furthermore, the technical tools have successfully passed testing in the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The military has already assessed the development.

"I joined the Ukrainian Defense Forces in 2014 and witnessed the development of the military-industrial complex—both ours and the enemy's—directly on the battlefield," says Hero of Ukraine, commander of the artillery reconnaissance division of the separate artillery brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Major Vitaliy Lytvyn. "When you advance to a position, you realize that you could be struck by an FPV drone. You won't even see the enemy before being destroyed. Why is the 'Atlas' project important? Because it combines suppression and detection tools. We will be able to ensure unobstructed flight for our UAVs and carry out missions effectively. We will save not only lives but also our resources."

The defense project "Atlas" is officially supported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

KVERTUS has calculated that to cover a frontline of 1300 km, 260 units of KVERTUS MS AZIMUTH and 5600 units of KVERTUS LTEJ MIRAGE are needed.

Therefore, a large-scale fundraising campaign has been announced, inviting businesses and ordinary citizens to participate. The total amount needed for the "Atlas" project is 5142 billion UAH. It is expected that the Ukrainian side will cover 620 million UAH, while the remainder will come from the project's foreign partners.

"The 'Atlas' project has the potential to change the course of history, perhaps not only in Ukraine but also in the world. This is something that will work for years to come and save tens of thousands of lives," the KVERTUS team is convinced.
