A conflict involving military personnel occurred in a café in Mykolaiv. The authors of the video claim that the soldiers were outraged by the relaxation of Ukrainians in the establishment while they are fighting at the front.
It is noted on Instagram that the military may be from the 36th Separate Marine Brigade. The footage shows quite aggressive behavior from the men in uniform: initially, one of them approaches a visitor and asks him to step outside.
Meanwhile, a second soldier approaches a customer seated at a table, attempts to snatch the phone from his hands, and spills a plate of food on him. This leads to a scuffle, with the first visitor receiving a punch to the head as the soldier tries to calm his comrade down.
"In the video, a third soldier can be heard saying that he is going for his weapon, and we'll shoot at the knees. The incident happened out of nowhere; we are eating, and they are fighting. The situation is absurd," — reads a comment on the video.
At the end of the video, security personnel rushed in to try to calm the soldiers.
"The security was nearby and saw how a guy was running outside with a weapon. They were just subdued; these soldiers were bothering them, asking why they weren't listening, and if they wanted to join them," — writes an eyewitness.
As of the news's publication, the command of the 36th Marine Brigade had not commented on the incident. The police of Mykolaiv region and the Mykolaiv regional military administration also did not respond to what happened.
