Starting next week, Ukraine will experience a rapid warming trend, with air temperatures reaching up to 20 degrees Celsius. This information is provided by the weather radar Ventusky.
The warming will begin on Tuesday, March 4. In the western regions and the south, daytime temperatures will be around 8-9 degrees. Meanwhile, in the east, temperatures will only be around 1-3 degrees above zero.
The following two days, March 5 and 6, will see a gradual increase in temperature, reaching 11-12 degrees in the west and 13-15 in the south.
On Friday, March 7, most of Ukraine will experience "hot" weather. In the western regions, thermometers will rise to 19 degrees. The south will be slightly cooler, at "only" 18°. In the central part, temperatures are expected to be around 14-16 degrees, while in the north and east, it will be about 10-12 degrees. Notably, in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, temperatures will not exceed +3 to +5 degrees.
Saturday, March 8, will also bring surprisingly warm, "summer-like" weather with temperatures ranging from 16 to 20 degrees in the western and southern parts of the country.
However, in Poltava region, Ventusky reports a "weather anomaly" where temperatures will range from 0 to +5 degrees, according to the service's data.
By Sunday, March 9, temperatures will gradually drop across the country, returning to typical spring conditions.
In the western part of the country, it will traditionally be warmer than in other regions. In Transcarpathia, air temperatures will be between 14-16 degrees, while in the south, they will range from 9-13 degrees. In the central, eastern, and northern regions, temperatures will fluctuate between +4 and +8 degrees.
As a reminder, meteorologist Natalka Didenko reported that the first days of spring will bring precipitation, as an atmospheric front will cross the territory of the country.
Meteorologist Igor Kibalchich also mentioned that during the weekend, an increase in temperature will be recorded, along with light precipitation in the form of wet snow, with some areas experiencing rain.
