"MiVina" in grenades: what’s the truth about the "defective" weapons received by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to a reviewer (video).

TNT is yellow in color and has a powdery texture, unlike the red cylinders often depicted in cartoons, stated military analyst Alexander Kovalenko. He also mentioned what might have been found inside F-1 grenades.

Inside the F-1 grenades, which ended up on the front lines in the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, there could have been both powdered TNT and an insulator. A definitive conclusion can only be made after an examination. Regarding the substance that Ukrainian soldiers observed and why it was referred to as "mivina," military-political analyst Alexander Kovalenko from the "Information Resistance" project explained in the Telegram channel "Trukha Ukraine."

Kovalenko clarified that the video might show TNT or an insulator, but certainly not "mivina," as the Ukrainian soldier claimed in the footage. The analyst described what TNT actually looks like. It turns out that TNT is a yellow substance resembling powder or crystals, or of a "solid type." He stated that TNT does not resemble the red cylinders seen in cartoons. The TNT that should be part of the F-1 grenades indeed looks like the substance shown in the video. On the other hand, he acknowledged that it could have been an insulator.

"What was jokingly referred to as mivina cannot be considered mivina at all. And people who understand the composition of the F-1 grenade know that TNT is indeed part of it," can be heard in the video.

Based on the recording of "mivina in grenades" and the words of the soldier, Kovalenko noted that it is impossible to draw a definitive conclusion about the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the munitions.

"I can only make interim conclusions, which, to put it mildly, could lead some to draw entirely incorrect conclusions," he said.

Scandal in the Armed Forces of Ukraine — What We Know About "Mivina" in the Grenades

What is the Reaction of Soldiers to F-1 Grenades with "Mivina"

In the comments under the message that Butusov has already deleted, it was explained that the grenade is actually normal, and the TNT indeed resembles yellow powder. On the other hand, it was noted that the crystals seen in the video could pose a problem for proper detonation. Additionally, a soldier under the nickname "Night Stalker" (Dmitry Ivanov) on Facebook wrote that the soldiers showed a foreign-made grenade O-23 or MAN39, equipped with the so-called "Rolland fuse." According to him, the substance is powdered TNT. The commander of the 24th Separate Assault Brigade "Aidar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Stanislav Bunyatov, also responded: stated that the unit commander should better prepare the troops so that they do not "get filled" with "mivina" from the grenades.

The Ministry of Defense has not commented on the situation with the grenades reported by Butusov.

We remind you that on January 14, military expert Sergey Zgurets stated that the Ministry of Defense bought for the Armed Forces grenades that are 80 years old.
