Ukrainian enterprises must proactively ensure to update the booking of employees and complete this process by the end of February 2025. Staff from the territorial recruitment centers (TRC) are monitoring the situation regarding mobilization exemptions, and if individuals lose their deferment, they may find themselves in the army. Media outlet Telegraf wrote about whether there is enough time for rebooking and how this will affect critically important enterprises.
The media published comments from members of parliament from the "Servant of the People" party regarding the process of rebooking workers at critical enterprises. The rebooking process began on December 1, 2024, and is set to conclude on February 28, 2025. MP and national security committee member Alexander Fedienko stated that this timeframe may not be sufficient. After the rebooking period expires, some individuals who have lost their protection may indeed end up in the army, the politician acknowledged.
"I can assume that a certain number of people will indeed be unbooked. There is a high probability that these individuals will be further mobilized," Fedienko stated.
Another MP from the "Servant of the People," member of the economic committee Dmitry Kisilevsky, noted that enterprises have been given sufficient time to update the booking of workers under new rules. He explained that rebooking was introduced due to a certain number of abuses. In particular, after obtaining the status of critically important, which grants protection to employees, sudden changes occurred. For example, at some enterprises, the "number of workers grew abnormally" or salaries rapidly decreased.
"This timeframe is more or less acceptable. There is enough time to manage it. Instances of abuse have been observed. There weren't many such enterprises, but they did exist," he stated.
Meanwhile, the media provided information from the representative of the Ministry of Economy, Sergey Smetanka. According to the official, 20,000 enterprises in Ukraine have received critical status. In his opinion, after inspections by the government and state administrations, this number is unlikely to change significantly, as mentioned in the article.
We remind you that on January 21, a new Cabinet of Ministers resolution was issued, outlining new military registration rules. Meanwhile, a representative from the Ministry of Digital Transformation explained whether it is necessary to visit the territorial recruitment center if a deferment was processed through the "Dія" app.
