The next two days in Ukraine will see a rise in temperature, along with light precipitation in the form of wet snow, and in some areas, rain. This was reported by meteorologist Igor Kibalchich.
According to his forecast, the beginning of March will bring predominantly cloudy weather with light snow and rain due to the influx of warm and humid air from the west. Fog and light wet snow accumulation are also possible.
In the western regions, wet snow is expected at night, occasionally mixed with rain, while during the day, there will be no significant precipitation. Fog may occur in some areas, and icy conditions are possible on the roads. Winds will be variable, ranging from 3 to 8 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be between -2 to +3, and daytime temperatures will reach +3 to +8.
In the northern regions, there will be no significant precipitation at night; however, snow and wet snow will fall in the morning and during the day. Wet snow accumulation, fog, and icy conditions on the roads are possible. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures are expected to be in the range of -2 to -7, with temperatures dropping to -10 in Sumy region; daytime temperatures will be -3 to +2.
In the central regions of Ukraine on Saturday, March 1, predominantly dry weather is expected. Only in the western parts of Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions will there be light snow/wet snow during the day. Icy conditions may occur on the roads. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between -2 and -7, while daytime temperatures will reach 0 to +5.
The south and Crimea will experience variable cloudiness with no precipitation. Only in Odesa region is wet snow with rain forecasted. Fog may occur in some areas. Winds will be southeast at 5 to 10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be -4 to +1 °C, and daytime temperatures will be +2 to +7.
The east will remain dry and cool. Icy conditions may be present on the roads. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be between -8 and -13, while daytime temperatures will range from -4 to +1.
In the western regions, precipitation in the form of snow and wet snow is expected, with occasional rain during the day. Moderate snowfall is anticipated in the Carpathians. Wet snow accumulation, fog, and icy conditions on the roads may occur. Winds will be variable at night, shifting to the west during the day at 3 to 8 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be between -3 and +2, while daytime temperatures will be -1 to +4.
The northern parts of the country will see light snow and wet snow, along with rain during the day. Fog may occur, and icy conditions are possible on the roads. Winds will predominantly come from the southwest at 3 to 8 m/s. Thermometers will show temperatures from 0 to 5 at night, rising to +1 to +6 during the day.
