Russia launched drone attacks on Kharkiv: a "Shahed" struck a high-rise building in the city center (video).

On the evening of March 2, Russian occupation forces launched drone attacks on Kharkiv, with one of the "Shaheds" hitting a residential apartment building. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov.

"Preliminary reports indicate that a Shahed-type UAV struck the central part of the city... It hit a multi-story building in the city center," Terekhov wrote at 22:05.

A few minutes later, he clarified that the "Shahed" crashed into an apartment building in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv, and a fire engulfed several apartments on its top floor.

"Additionally, as a result of the enemy UAV's strike, three buildings were damaged, and nearly one hundred and fifty windows were shattered," Terekhov noted.

At the same time, videos have emerged online capturing the moment the "Shahed" struck the apartment building.

At the time of this publication, at least seven people were reported injured due to the Russian attack, including a seven-year-old child.

Recall that on the evening of February 28, the Russian Armed Forces launched several strikes with "Shaheds" on Kharkiv, resulting in the destruction of a medical facility.

On the evening of March 1, the Russians carried out a missile strike on the Odesa seaport.
