Russia launched attacks on Kyiv and the surrounding region with "Shahed" drones: details of the enemy strike.

On the night of February 21 to 22, Russian occupiers launched strike drones over Ukrainian territory, resulting in the death of an employee of "Ukrzaliznytsia." This was reported by the company's press service on Telegram.

"As a result of a UAV falling at his workplace, our shift worker at the crossing in the Boryspil district was killed," the statement said.

"Ukrzaliznytsia" emphasized that train movement in the area where the man died is permitted at reduced speed, and trains are operating according to schedule.

At the same time, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that debris from a "Shahed" caused destruction in the Solomianskyi district of the capital.

"In the Solomianskyi district, where the debris from the UAV fell, there is a fire on the territory of private housing. There are damages," Klitschko wrote.

The Kyiv City Military Administration confirmed this information, adding that "there are no casualties."

"The fall of UAV debris on an open area of a private estate in the Solomianskyi district led to the ignition of a tree over an area of 3 square meters. The fire has been extinguished. The shockwave damaged windows in the house opposite," the KCSA emphasized.

Recall that on the night of February 21, Russian Armed Forces shelled Ukraine with several waves of Shahed kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles.

On the night of February 20, Russian Armed Forces struck Kherson with guided aerial bombs.
