By the evening of February 28, Russian occupying forces launched several strikes with "Shaheds" on Kharkiv, resulting in the destruction of a medical facility. This was reported by the chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov.

The first strike was reported around 11:00 PM.

"According to preliminary data, the enemy targeted the Kyiv district with a drone," — wrote Synegubov.

Fifteen minutes later, he reported another strike, this time in the Kyiv district of the city, and a few minutes later — in the Kholodnohirskiy district.

The fifth strike was again directed at the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv.

"One of the drones hit the premises of a medical facility," — noted Synegubov, specifying that the State Emergency Service employees were extinguishing the fire that resulted from the attack.

The mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, confirmed that the occupiers struck the medical facility and added that there were people inside.

By around midnight, news of the sixth strike emerged.

"Another strike occurred in the Kyiv district near a gas station. Information about the damage and casualties is being clarified," — wrote Terekhov.

Subsequently, the Russians struck the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv for the third time.

"The Russian army launched at least 8 drones at the regional center. All targeted exclusively civilian infrastructure: the Kyiv, Shevchenkivskyi, and Novobavarskyi districts. Dozens of houses were damaged, and fires broke out at several impact sites affecting buildings and vehicles," — stated Oleg Synegubov.

At the time of publication, there was no information about casualties resulting from the Russian attack.
