Russians dropped an aerial bomb on a residential building in Kharkiv. As a result of the strike, a 12-year-old boy sustained injuries that were incompatible with life, while another 15-year-old teenager remains trapped under the rubble.

On the night of Wednesday, October 30, Russian forces struck an apartment building in the Saltivka district of Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov.

According to his information, the bomb hit the fourth floor of the 9-story building. The entrance from the 1st to the 4th floors was destroyed.

The Russian army dropped three guided aerial bombs from a Su-34 aircraft based in the Belgorod region, as reported to "Suspilne" by the head of the Kharkiv police, Vladimir Timoshko. According to him, two bombs fell in the area, and one hit a residential building.

As stated by the State Emergency Service, rescuers managed to free a boy with severe head injuries and multiple fractures from the rubble. Medical teams fought for over half an hour to save his life, but unfortunately, they could not save the child.

The child, who died as a result of the Russian strike on the building in Kharkiv, was found under the debris without signs of life, as reported to "Suspilne" by Viktor Zabashhta, the director of the regional emergency medical center. Resuscitation efforts were conducted for 40 minutes.

The national police reported that an operational headquarters has been established near the site of the strike, where citizens can approach law enforcement with claims of property damage and missing relatives.

Additionally, police units will provide security near the damaged apartments to prevent looting.

Oleg Synegubov reported that, according to the latest information, 34 people were injured.

According to updated data, the deceased boy had turned 12 in September. Another 15-year-old boy remains trapped under the rubble.

At this moment, one person has died, noted the head of the regional administration.

"The rescue operation is ongoing. The search efforts are complicated by the significant damage to the building's structure and the risk of collapse," Oleg Synegubov stated.
