"Ukrzaliznytsia" announced a reduction in discounts for international trains to Poland and Hungary starting February 1. This will result in an increase in ticket prices for these routes. Meanwhile, prices for flights to Austria and Moldova will remain unchanged. This was reported by "Ukrzaliznytsia" on Tuesday, January 28.
Previously, the company had reached agreements with its foreign partners on special discounts to stimulate demand for international transportation. However, due to rising energy resource and material costs, as well as losses amounting to 18 billion hryvnias in 2024, the carrier is forced to revise these conditions, the company explained.

Until January 31 inclusive, tickets for February flights can be purchased at the old prices through the official website or mobile application of "Ukrzaliznytsia".
