Emergency power outages have been implemented in Kyiv and the surrounding region (infographic).

In the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, an emergency power outage regime is in effect. This was reported by the energy company "DTEK" on Telegram.

Following the directive from "Ukrenergo," emergency outages are being implemented in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Should there be any changes, the energy providers will promptly inform the residents of the affected areas.

In "Ukrenergo," it was noted that the tightening of electricity supply restrictions is a result of massive attacks by the Russian army on energy facilities. Initially, industrial consumers and businesses are being disconnected.

Power limitation schedules for industry remain in effect. For household consumers, these restrictions do not apply, except in cases of emergencies within the regional energy networks.

The situation in the energy system may change, and energy providers urge residents to keep an eye on updates from the distribution system operators.

As a reminder, following the attack by the Russian Armed Forces on February 26, electricity was cut off due to damage to power lines in the Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has calculated the number of massive strikes inflicted by the Russian Armed Forces over three years of full-scale war. The damages from these attacks are measured in billions of dollars.
