In Ukraine, emergency power outages have been partially implemented: schedules for December 26.

On December 25, a large-scale missile strike by Russia on Ukraine caused significant disruptions to the country's power grid. Emergency power outages are still in effect in the Kirovohrad region.

On December 26, Ukraine is expected to implement emergency electricity consumption restrictions for residential consumers, businesses, and enterprises. This was reported by the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo".

Residential consumers will experience power outages in one and a half shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After that, there will be one shift of outages until 9:00 PM. Businesses and enterprises will receive restriction schedules from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The outages are a result of damage to energy facilities caused by a massive missile and drone attack on December 25. Energy workers are striving to repair the equipment damaged by the strikes as quickly as possible.

The energy company has also released the schedules for power outages on December 26. Several shifts of outages are expected in Kyiv and the surrounding areas, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions.

Energy workers warn of possible changes in the timing and extent of electricity supply restrictions. Current data and schedules are available on the websites and social media pages of regional power companies.

"Poltavaoblenergo" has already announced the cancellation of emergency outage schedules in full.

Recall that on the morning of December 25, the Russian army conducted a massive shelling of Ukrainian territory. The missile attack lasted approximately 2 hours and targeted energy facilities.

One of the enemy's targets on December 25 was the Burshtyn TPP, an important energy facility. Missile strikes caused communication disruptions and power outages in Kalush, Burshtyn, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
