In Kyiv, 9,000 passes will be checked as they were issued to those who shouldn't have been traveling during the curfew.

The check was initiated by the Moscow City Government, which discovered that one of the deputy administrators had issued a pass without justification. However, the city authorities will not stop there.
В Киеве проверят 9000 пропусков, выданных не тем, кто должен был находиться на улице в комендантский час.

The Kyiv City Military Administration has launched an inspection of all passes that allow movement in Kyiv during the curfew. This process will last approximately one month. This was announced during a telethon on February 28 by the spokesperson for the KVA, Yevhen Ievlev.

"A fact was identified and published on social media, where such a pass was found with an individual who did not seem to have valid grounds for it," he explained.

The pass was verified, and it turned out that it was issued by one of the deputies of the administration through the KCCA. Following this, an inspection was initiated to understand who and how these passes are being issued.

"Between 7,800 and 9,000 such passes have been issued, and considering this case, we have reason to believe that among them, there are some issued to individuals who do not have proper grounds for movement during the curfew," Ievlev informed.

A representative of the KVA clarified that the capital authorities will not limit themselves to just checking passes. A special algorithm has also been developed in Kyiv, which still needs further refinement.

"We want to make this process digital, because where there is more digitization, there is always less corruption," he specified.

Recall that on February 26, a representative of the Kyiv administration, Yevhen Ievlev, reported that the capital is considering a new initiative regarding behavior on public transport during air alerts.

Starting March 3, the conditions for artists and journalists to travel abroad from Ukraine will change. The State Border Guard Service explained what grounds will allow these categories to leave Ukraine.
