In Dnipro, an informant who transmitted information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the enemy has been uncovered (PHOTO).

In Dnipro, an informant for the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) has been uncovered, who was involved in passing information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office, a 46-year-old local resident has been charged with state treason committed under martial law, which falls under part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation revealed that the suspect actively participated in a pro-Russian community on the messaging platform Telegram, which is controlled by Russian special services. Law enforcement agencies discovered that this community was used to coordinate the actions of agents and disseminate information aimed against Ukraine.

After establishing contact with the administrator of this channel, the suspect became part of a network of informants engaged in subversive activities in the interests of the aggressor country. According to the case materials, the man collected and transmitted crucial information regarding the location and movement of personnel and military equipment of the AFU in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The gathered information included precise coordinates, screenshots of maps, and other data that could be utilized for planning attacks on Ukrainian positions. The transmitted information was used to adjust strikes on military targets, which jeopardized the safety of Ukrainian servicemen and local residents.

During a search of the suspect's residence, law enforcement officers seized technical devices such as computers and mobile phones, which contained evidence of his illegal activities, including correspondence with Russian special services and materials containing classified information.
