Dozens are dying: in Pokrov, there’s a mass poisoning of dogs (PHOTO)

In the city of Pokrov, located in the Nikopol district, animal rights activists are sounding the alarm due to a mass poisoning of stray dogs. This was reported by "Vidomo," referencing a post from a local animal volunteer on Facebook.

In recent days, dozens of animals have died, and the number of affected continues to rise.

Preliminary estimates indicate that 49 stray dogs have been poisoned in the city. Fortunately, 26 of them were saved, but 24 dogs suffered a tragic fate.

The woman notes that the number of deceased dogs is increasing. Local residents are reaching out to her with reports of new poisoning incidents in various areas of the city.

Currently, the activist is urging the residents of Pokrov, who may have any information that could assist in the investigation, to come forward.

Volunteers are gathering evidence for further investigation and are in communication with animal protection organizations.
