In the Shevchenkivskyi district of Dnipro, on Myrna Street, a 43-year-old man sustained a fatal stab wound following a conflict with an opponent. The argument arose spontaneously. This information was reported by "Vidomo," citing the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
After being stabbed, the victim managed to reach his home despite his severe injuries. Medical personnel were unable to assist him – the man died.
The report of the death was received by law enforcement on January 26. During the operational search activities conducted by the Dnipro district police in collaboration with the criminal analysis unit, the location of the suspect was established. He turned out to be a 28-year-old resident of Dnipro. The arrest took place on January 27 in another area of the city.
On January 28, investigators informed the suspect of the charges under part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces a potential prison sentence of up to ten years.
A court hearing will be scheduled after all necessary investigative actions have been completed, including witness interrogations, conducting expert examinations, and gathering additional evidence. The pre-trial investigation is currently ongoing.
