On Monday, October 28, patrol officers found a minor female driver in Dnipro who was involved in an accident while driving a stolen car. This was reported by "Vydomo," referencing the Patrol Police of Dnipropetrovsk Region.
"Yesterday, at one of the checkpoints, patrol officers stopped a Ford vehicle being driven by a girl. She refused to provide her driver's license and vehicle registration documents, gave a false name, and then suddenly drove off," – states the report.
The patrol pursued her. The driver did not respond to the police's demand to stop. Eventually, they caught up with her and blocked her from fleeing.
The girl claimed to be 17 years old, stating that she did not have a driver's license. According to her, she took her guardian's car for a joyride, got into an accident with a Peugeot on Slobozhansky Avenue, and left the scene.
Regarding the illegal acquisition of the vehicle, the patrol called investigators and the minor's guardian to the scene, and also prepared administrative materials against her for traffic violations that resulted in damage to vehicles, for driving without a valid license, and for failing to comply with the police's order to stop.
