In Dnipro, a man visited his ex-wife and fatally stabbed her partner (PHOTO).

The police of Dnipro reported that a local resident has been charged with murder stemming from jealousy. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The crime occurred on January 24 at around 10:00 PM near a house on Skorostna Street.

As established by law enforcement, the suspect entered the home where his ex-wife lived with a 40-year-old man. A conflict arose between the men, during which the 46-year-old suspect delivered a fatal knife wound to the victim's neck. The victim died at the scene from the injury. After committing the crime, the aggressor left the knife and fled.

Patrol officers apprehended the attacker nearby and handed him over to the investigative team. Authorities gathered sufficient evidence linking the suspect to the crime.

The attacker was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

On January 25, investigators informed the detained individual of the charges against him under Part 1 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man faces up to 15 years in prison for the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
