Police in Dnipropetrovsk region have shut down a channel for trafficking women abroad and involving them in prostitution. This was reported by "Vidomo," citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.
It is noted that a 37-year-old perpetrator recruited women in distress and offered them jobs in nightclubs in the Czech Republic, promising a reward of 100 euros per hour. As part of her plan, she intended to smuggle the women across the state border for employment in the sex industry. The bus transporting the women was stopped at a border checkpoint. During the searches, police found material evidence: mobile phones and notebooks confirming the suspect's plans.

On January 25, the woman was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. She was informed of her suspicion under part 1 of Article 149 (human trafficking) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The woman faces up to 8 years in prison.
