While extinguishing a nighttime fire in an apartment, firefighters rescued two individuals and discovered the body of a man. This was reported by "Vідомо," referencing the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk region.

On January 29 at 02:59, the emergency service "101" received a report of a fire in a five-story building on Kyshtanov Street in the city of Nikopol.

Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers determined that the fire was in an apartment on the third floor. Household items were ablaze over a total area of 8 square meters.

Using an aerial ladder, firefighters rescued two people from the balcony of an apartment located one floor above.

Inside the burning building, firefighters found the body of a man.

The fire was extinguished at 03:41.
