Россия обучает африканских журналистов методам распространения своей пропаганды, сообщает Le Monde.
African publications “African Initiative” and “Agence de presse,” which are managed by Russian intelligence services, have been training 60 so-called journalists from Mali since July to promote Moscow's interests across the continent. This was reported by the French publication Le Monde, according to UNN.

The publication, along with several partners in other countries, has released an article regarding a so-called “journalism school” located in Mali's capital, Bamako. According to the report, this institution is preparing personnel for an information agency established by Russian intelligence, which disseminates pro-Russian propaganda.
The material states that lectures in “elegant French” were given by the head of the agency's French editorial team, Mikhail Pozdnyakov. He promoted the idea that the internet is a battleground for geopolitical conflict and advised his students to create headlines such as: “Macron, go away: the results of Lavrov's and Evkurov's visit to French Africa,” writes Le Monde.
Sixty individuals studied at the school, with promises of employment at the Africa Initiative agency for the top performers. The selection of students involved Malian journalist and influencer Robert Dissa, known for his pro-Russian publications. He was arranged a trip to Moscow and subsequently to the occupied Ukrainian city of Mariupol. Pozdnyakov confirmed this detail to Le Monde, referring to it as a “press visit to liberated territories.”
It is noted that Africa Initiative has offices in three Sahel countries, where pro-Russian military regimes are in power.
